This is a solid rowing machine. I am used to the Concept 2 at the gym, and this one rows a bit differently, with a harder catch. Having gotten used to the magnet feel, I quite like it. Overall construction is robust, especially the rail and seat part. The rail folds up easily and securely when not in use.My two complaints are that the electronics aren’t that informative; would like to see more info on one screen versus the rotating page motif it uses. Also, the machine is a little bit tippy side to side, but this is a minor quibble. I appreciate the narrow footprint that causes this. On the whole, I am satisfied with my purchase, as this Schwinn was less than half the price of a Concept 2. It’s hard to know for sure, but I feel like it will last a good long while.
家での運動用に購入しました。高校時代ボート部でコンセプト２を３年使っており、そちらを本命にしていましたが高かったので、Schwinnを購入してみました。コンセプト２（だいぶ前の話なので進化していると思いますが）よりマグネット式な分静かです。夜でも利用できます。まだ数日しか使っていなので耐久性は不明。負荷はコンセプト２と同等だと思いますが、、、私の体力が衰えている可能性大です。大きさは畳一畳半くらいでしょうか？思ったより大きかったですが、足を延ばした時、シートが後ろのストッパーにぶつかることが無い商品がほしかったので満足しています。ただ、表示できるものが限られているので、２０００メートル漕のタイムを計るなどの機能は無いです（１メートル～の単純な表示はありますが）。現役ボート部員さんやエルゴ大会の練習用など本格的に利用されるようならコンセプト２がやはり良いと思いますが、自宅運動用なら十分です。
I’ve had it for two days and I live in a Japanese mansion. I worried about sound going to the person underneath me, but this is a VERY quiet machine. I’m not worried about sound at all. I do have it on a 2cm pad just in case. I’m looking forward to using this a lot.
